What happens next?
I offer a free 20-minute phone call so you can ask any questions you might have about therapy or working with me and have an initial chat about your reason for reaching out. You are under no obligation to continue after that. For example, we might decide that another form of help might be more useful.
If we decide to continue, we then meet for two 50-minute sessions, or consultations. In them we go into more depth about your reason for coming to therapy and this is an opportunity for me to find out more about you too. This gives you a chance to experience how it feels to work with me, should you wish to continue with therapy afterwards. During these sessions we will also think about whether it is the right time for you to engage in therapy and if we both feel we are a good fit.
We would then work out where and when we meet and for how long. This could be in an open-ended way (no end date) or maybe a shorter model might be better. Don't worry, I will be able to advise on this, it's an open discussion.
